I made big strides this past month in self-occupational rehab. With several mics on the bench in the service backlog, it was like triage. Who to save first? I got three 55's repaired and on their way home. I still have three on the workbench and one in the queue.
This month I also made a visit to Isa's Couture Fabrics in Miami, where the designers' shop. I was out of the fan favorite red and blue silks. I took a finished set of liners and the aforementioned 55s of joe blow to play show and tell.
The lovely and patient saleslady was with the program after seeing the mic and liners, and brought out a bin of "samples and end pieces." A kid in a candy store, I picked out three "samples" to go with my purchase. Red, a lighter medium blue and a wine burgundy.
I haven't taken pics of the new liners yet, but will this coming week.
I will try to catch up more in the next week.
